The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release the crop insurance amount for the period of 2018 - 2019 to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 01.07.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 2/5
1 to 3 submitted that, though the petitioner has sent a representation to the third respondent, the fourth respondent is the competent authority to address the issue of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner may be permitted to submit a fresh representation to the fourth respondent, detailing the issues raised in the present writ petition. Upon receipt of such representation, the fourth respondent will pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the fourth respondent, setting out all the grounds raised in this writ petition, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the said representation, the fourth respondent shall consider it and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a further period of four weeks, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and to any other aggrieved persons, if any. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter and it is open to the fourth respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
