Kullapuram Village, Periyakulam Block, Theni District to an extent of 2 acres 4 cents in favour of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2025 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2.The petitioner is the wife of one Rajendran, who was the original owner of the property. He had become entitled to the entire property by virtue of a release deed dated 26.08.2003 executed by Maruthamuthu and Manikandan, who are his brothers. The petitioner was however, issued joint patta in the names of the family members. The petitioner, after the demise of her husband went to the subject property and found that the electricity connection has been disconnected and fresh application was necessitated. However, the Electricity Department requires separate patta in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation on 15.02.2025, seeking issuance of separate patta. 2/6

3.However, as rightly contended by Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, no online application has been made for issuance of separate patta and requisite fee also has not been paid. No evidence is available in the typed set of papers in this regard. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that online application has already been made.

4.In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to make online application and remit the necessary charges, if any already not made, within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent shall pass final orders on the said application, or on the application, if any already made, within a period of four [4] weeks, thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
