O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3rd respondent not to disturb the petitioner to run his petty shop situated in Saliyamangalam, Ammapettai Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2024.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.2 and 3 would submit that they have not disturbed the petitioner from running the petty shop and at the same time, the petitioner is selling illicit liquor illegally and thereby, already five case have been registered against the petitioner. Therefore, the respondents have advised the petitioner not to sell the liquor illegally. Apart from that, they have not interfered with the running of the petty shop. However, the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2024 is pending for enquiry, they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within one week. Page No. 2 of 4

Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and the respondents have also admitted the receipt of the representation from the petitioner, this Court recording the same directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.12.2024 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of this order.

4. With the above said observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed.
