O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct survey and demarcate the petitioner's land in S.F.No.1174/A2 measuring 8 cents out of 3 acre 58 cents, situated at Thennilai West Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District, along with necessary police protection.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent pointed out that the petitioner has been issued with Patta No.944 for the land in S.F.No.1174/A2 at Thennilai West Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District, measuring 1.45 hectares, namely, 3 acres and 58 cents. There are other pattadhars also.

3. A direction is issued to the respondent to issue notice not only to the petitioner but also to the other pattadhars whose names are found in the revenue records and if there are no objections, proceed to conduct the survey. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
