ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for disobeying the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.14947 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, thereby directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.1021 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of that order.

Cont.P.(MD)No.1117 of 2021 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent police completed the investigation in Crime No.1021 of 2019 and also filed a closure report on 19.08.2020. 3.Recording the said submissions, this Contempt Petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report by way of protest petition, if so advised.
