These Writ Petitions have been instituted to direct the respondents to pay the Samba Crop insurance amount of Rs.25,000/- per acre with 12% interest to the farmers belonging to the Villages mentioned in the petitions for the year 2016-2017.

2.The learned counsels appearing for the petitioners submitted that a sum of Rs.17,000/- per acre was fixed towards the insurance amount. However, for an adjacent Village, a sum of Rs.25,000/- per acre was fixed. 3.The fixation of compensation depends on various factors, which all are to be taken into consideration by the Insurance Company in coordination with the Government authorities. The High Court, at this length of time, cannot re-fix the compensation that was determined in the year 2016-2017, especially since the compensation has already been settled.
4.Accordingly, these Writ Petitions stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
