ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take action on the third respondent by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 23.03.2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent Police submitted that a case and counter case was registered in Crime Nos.898 and 899 of 2022 and on completion of investigation, a police report has been filed in both the cases before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V. Madurai on 12.02.2024 through Efiling mode. He further submitted that the learned Judicial Magistrate is yet to act upon the police report.

3. In the light of the above development, it will suffice, if a direction is give to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent Police in Crime Nos.898 and 899 of 2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
