PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents herein for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.A.(MD)No.455 of 2020 dated 22.06.2020. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) This contempt petition has been instituted to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.A.(MD)No.455 of 2020 dated 22.06.2020.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted a copy of the Government Order passed in G.O.(D)No.332, Higher Education (E2) Department, dated 16.11.2023 implementing the orders of this Court dated 22.06.2020 in W.A.(MD)No.455 of 2020. As per the Government Order, the amount due to the petitioner will be debited in the account of the petitioner. 2/4

3.In view of the fact that the orders of this Court had already been implemented, no further adjudication is required to be undertaken in this petition. 4.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the calculation made by the respondents is incorrect. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the authorities, if there are any mistakes while calculating the amount due to the petitioner.
