O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to initiate appropriate criminal action under the relevant provisions of law on the basis of the complaint dated 21.07.2020, lodged before the first respondent herein in-person within the stipulated time as expeditiously as possible.

2. Today, when the petition is taken for hearing, Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that upon the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.11810 of 2020 receipt of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered against the four persons in Crime No.1250 of 2020, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506 (ii) of I.P.C., on the file of the second respondent Police. The aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.

3. Now, it is made clear as the representation given by the petitioner had already been considered and therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
