COMMON ORDER Heard both sides.
2.The cases on pertain to conducting of the petition mentioned temple festival. The petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.12614 of 2024 was appointed as trustee by Hindu Religious and Endowment Department. Sekar proposes to challenge the same before the competent authority. In order to ensure that the event is peacefully conducted, I suggested to the parties that some compromise formula can be arrived at. The trustee who have been appointed has suggested that the event can be held under the aegis of the Inspector, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Vilathikulam. Sekar states that as far as this year is concerned, the said Inspector can very well conduct the event. 3.Since there is consensus between both the parties, these writ petitions are disposed of by directing the Inspector, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Vilathikulam to conduct the petition mentioned temple festival. It is for him to decide the date and the manner of conducting the festival. I make it clear that no individual will be given any special honor 4/6
or respect. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
