on the fixation of Special Grade in the cadre of Agricultural Officer, that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Satheeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner is working as Agricultural Officer in the respondent Department. He made a representation to the second respondent to grant Special Grade in the cadre of Agricultural Officer. The third respondent has sent proposal on 24.07.2024 to the second respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent failed to forward the same to the first respondent for the last seven months.
3. During the course of hearing, Mr.N.Satheeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the proposal sent by the third 2/5
respondent to the second respondent on 24.07.2024 has been forwarded to the first respondent on 25.04.2025. Now, the first respondent has to consider the proposal sent by the third respondent on 24.07.2024, which was forwarded by the second respondent on 25.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above factual position, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the proposal dated 24.07.2024 of the third respondent forwarded by the second respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
