O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation in connection with the case in Crime No.289/2014 dated 11.08.2014 and file a final report before the concerned Court within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case has been registered in Crime No.289 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 323 of IPC and no final report has been filed before the Court concerned so far. Hence, he approached this Court with this petition.

4. By taking into account the above submission and also considering the fact that the case has been registered in the year 2014, this Court directs that 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.289 of 2014, before the Court concerned, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
