ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the entire records in connection with case in Crime No.225 of 2022 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same as against the petitioner herein.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent police would submit that the investigation in this crime number has already been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Thirunelveli and also the cognizance taken on file in C.C.No.938 of 2023.

3. In view of the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. If the petitioner is aggrieved with 2/4

the contents of the final report, he will work out the remedy through appropriate proceedings. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
