The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's complaints dated 10.05.2020 and 15.05.2020, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that a copy of the representation dated 15.05.2020 has been received by the second respondent / Police and thereafter, the same has been taken for enquiry in C.No.112/DSP/ALESC/TRICHY/2020. He would further submit that the said enquiry has been posted on 21.09.2020 for the appearance of the parties. The said submission is recorded. 3 Therefore, the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reveals the fact that the prayer sought for by the petitioner had already been considered by the second respondent and therefore, it would be appropriate to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. Accordingly this Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the second respondent / Police, to complete the investigation, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
