ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking to quash the summon in E.M.C.No.114 of 2020, issued by the first respondent, dated 20.08.2020.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the impugned summon, the petitioner was directed to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- to the credit of the Court of Executive Magistrate Cum Assistant Commissioner (L & O), Tirunelveli/first respondent to maintain public peace and tranquillity, on or before 05.00 pm on 16.09.2020 and that since the period has already been expired, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
