O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.662 of 2023 on the file of the respondent and to file Final Report within stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case. Based on the complaint, the case in Crime No.662 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 120B, 420, 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC was registered. Thereafter, they have not taken any steps to arrest the accused and still, investigation is pending and they have not filed Final Report more than 1 1⁄2 years. Therefore, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, they registered the case in Crime No.662 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 120B, 420, 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC and now, the case is under investigation. Since so many documents involved in this case and the accused also absconded and they are searching the accused. Therefore, they will conduct investigation and file Final Report within two months. 4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report within two months from the date of this order.

5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
