Seeking to quash the final report filed by the police before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Trichy in C.C.No.473 of 2020, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police would contend that C.C.No.473 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Trichy, ended in acquittal on 29.12.2022 and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.
