Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to cancel the joint Patta No.2051 on the name of the petitioner's father and the respondents 5 and 6 herein with regard to property in Survey No.1042/2H and 1041/3C situated at Ayyalur Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District and issue the separate patta in favour of the petitioner based on his representation dated 11.04.2022.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner seeks cancellation of the joint patta and issuance of individual patta. The petitioner has moved the first respondent. The first respondent had sought report from the second respondent. The second respondent had fixed the enquiry on 29.08.2022 at 03.00 p.m. Both the parties shall appear before the second respondent and place their case. The second respondent will conclude his enquiry and submit his report to the first respondent within a period of two weeks thereafter. The first respondent shall pass final order on merits and in accordance with law after going through the 2/4

entire records within a period of six weeks thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or the other.

3. This writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
