ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Trichy, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application, on the same day on merit in relating to Crime No.634 of 2021, dated 23.06.2021.

2. When the matter was taken up hearing on 30.07.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner is involved in 10 previous cases. Out of which, 6 cases were disposed of and 4 cases are pending. For the purpose to verify the same, the case has been adjourned today.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9530 of 2021 3.When the matter taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that no similar cases are pending against the petitioner and the cases, which pending against him are only minor.

4. What ever it may be, considering the antecedents of the petitioner, he is not entitled for discretionary relief of direction. So, I find no valid reason and merits in this matter to exercise the discretionary power. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition deserves dismissal and accordingly, dismissed.
