ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the fourth respondent not to harass the petitioners in the name of enquiry.

2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner was arrayed as fifth accused in Crime No.12 of 2020, which was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b) (c), 29(1) and 25 of NDPS Act. The said submission is recorded. 1/3

3.In the said circumstances, once a regular First Information Report has been registered, the question of 'not to harass' will not arise. Hence, if any direction is issued at this stage, it will amount to interfere with the investigation conducted by the respondents police.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
