Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2026 and to forthwith remove the obstruction caused by the road laid through the petitioner's vacant patta land belonging to the petitioner in Kuruvadipatti Village, comprised in Survey No.52/13 of Kuruvadipatti Village, and restore the said land to a vacant and unencumbered condition within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner claims to be the owner in possession of land comprised in Survey No. 52/13, situated at Kuruvadipatti Village, and alleges that the respondents have laid a road on the said patta land without following due process of law. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking removal of the road laid allegedly in an illegal manner. 2/4

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2, and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 3 and 4, submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
