RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time period for surrender as well as to comply the condition order passed by this Hon'ble Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5742 of 2020 dated on 15.06.2020.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.RAJINI, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that earlier this Court by an order, dated 15.06.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5742 of 2020 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on condition to surrender before the concerned Court within a period of 15 days. Due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner is not in a position to appear before the concerned Court and produce the sureties and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

3. Considering the request, time granted by this Court vide order, dated 15.06.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5742 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
