ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the shop of the petitioner, namely, Sri Ganapathi Silks, Theni. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint lodged by Menaka, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner's brother's son, namely, Murugan, in crime No.13 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 417, 376, 506

(1) and 109 of IPC. Apart from this complaint against the said Murugan, Menaka is giving trouble to the petitioner by coming to his shop and threatening him as well as his workers in the said shop. Hence, he sent a representation to the third respondent, seeking police protection. But, till now, no action has been taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the representation was received only on 15.06.2022, by post.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10334 of 2022 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the third respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner and take suitable action in this regard on merits and in accordance with law. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
