Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the first respondent in his proceedings Ka.No.Vu.mi.Po/1/Janci/Va.Vu/Ko/ New Electric Connection/A.No.134/19 dated 02.05.2019 and quash the same as illegal consequently to direct the first respondent to provide electricity supply to the petitioner's house bearing Door No.10/8 Sudam Samiyar Lane, Sambandamoorthy Street, Madurai.

O R D E R

Learned counsel for the first respondent fairly states that, in the light of Regulation 27(4) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code, 2004, the first respondent is prepared to grant electricity connection upon an application being filed by the petitioner in this regard along with all required annexures and charges.

2. Thus, the petitioner is permitted to file an application seeking connection along with all required annexures and charges therefor. Upon consideration of the same, necessary orders shall be passed by the first respondent within a period of three(3) weeks from date of receipt of the application.

3.In the light of the aforesaid, impugned order dated 02.05.2019 is set aside and this writ petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
