O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate the lands of the petitioner in Survey No.426/3B at Karunkulam Revenue Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. The petitioner had made necessary application through online on 29.12.2022 and also paid necessary charges.

2. It is stated by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the lands were originally purchased by the husband of the petitioner, vide document No.1878 of 2021 dated 05.05.2021 in Panankudi Sub 2/5

Registrar Office. The husband of the petitioner had thereafter, executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner on 04.02.2022 registered as document No.436 of 2022 at Panankudi Sub Registrar Office.

3. A direction is given to the respondents to examine the said document given by the petitioner and conduct survey of the aforementioned lands of the petitioner. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
