O R D E R

The petitioner, who had secured cut-off marks of 89.5%, seeks for a direction to the respondents to admit him in five years B.A.LL.B Degree Course in any one of the Government Law Colleges of the respondent - University herein on the ground that the cut-off marks for admission to the said Course is 83.125% for M.B.C.Candidates and as such, he is within the zone of consideration.

2. Today (i.e.02.08.2018), when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel for the respondents submitted that the respondents have taken a decision to consider the petitioner's candidature favourably and allot a seat to him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In the light of the submissions made by the learned standing counsel, the petitioner may not have any grievance.

Accordingly, he is granted liberty to approach the respondents herein seeking for allotment of a seat for five years B.A.LL.B. Degree Course in any one of the affiliated Government Law Colleges of the respondent - University and on receipt of the same, the respondents shall grant a seat to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
