ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.N.MANJULA, J.) The prayer in this petition is for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce the body or person of the detenue namely, Vinitha, aged about 22 years, wife of Saravanakumar before this Court and set her at liberty.

Today, the detenue has been produced before this Court by the respondents/police. The petitioner is the husband of the detenue. We enquired the detenue. She stated that she is not under illegal detention or unlawful custody of her parents as alleged by the petitioner. She further stated that she is willing to be with her parents.

Since the detenue is a major and there is no illegal or unlawful custody of the detenue as alleged by the petitioner, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. No costs.
