This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.698 of 2021 from the file of the Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station, Madurai District to the file of the Inspector of Police, C.B.C.I.D., Madurai District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the investigation has been completed and also final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Melur, on 16.12.2021. It is yet to be taken on file by the Judicial Magistrate.
