This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide adequate Police Protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members, based on the representation dated 27.03.2021.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that enquiry was undertaken in C.P.No.10703 of 2021 and it was underway. To inform the outcome of the enquiry the matter is listed today.

3.Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that during the course of enquiry, it was found that it is a money transaction dispute between the parties. The petitioner has given https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP (MD) No. 9549 of 2021 a statement to the effect that on the basis of the available records, he will work out his remedy through appropriate civil proceedings. Based upon that statement, the complaint was closed. 4.Since it appears that it is a money transaction dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents, question of granting police protection to the petitioner may not arise. The copy of the closure report and the statement given by the petitioner are produced before this Court. Therefore, nothing survives for further consideration and direction. 5.Recording the above said submissions this criminal original petition is disposed of as infructuous.
