PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned transfer order passed by the 2nd respondent by his proceedings in Administration/A3/15930/2022 dated 02.03.2023 and quash the same as illegal. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner has been transferred from SIPCOT Branch to Thirumangalam Branch on administrative grounds. On the fact of it, it does not cast any stigma on the petitioner. I am therefore not inclined to interfere with the transfer order. If the petitioner complies with the impugned transfer order and report for duty in the transferred place, it is open to the petitioner herein to submit a representation to the first respondent seeking reconsideration. Thereafter, the first respondent may consider the same and pass an appropriate order. 2/4

3.With this liberty to the petitioner and direction to the first respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
