This Writ Petition is filed to grant permission to conduct temple festival and adequate protection in Shree Elu Kannimar Swamy Temple Festival at Aathur Village, Manmangalam Taluk in Karur District from 15.05.2024 till 17.05.2024.

2. The petitioner has given a representation in person on 21.04.2024 before the 3rd respondent seeking permission and protection for the festival. But the 3rd respondent has rejected the said representation. Challenging the same, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Now, it is submitted before the Court that the respondents have directed the petitioner to conduct the programme on some other day and the petitioner has also accepted to the same. One group is conducting the 2/4

festival which is going on and the other group will conduct the programme on 10.06.2024. The respondents are directed to ensure the law and order.
