O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to survey the lands measuring 56 cents in Survey No.317/8A at Kodangipatti Village, Bodinayakanur Taluk, Theni District.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader, Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, who had taken notice on behalf of the respondents stated that with respect to the above lands, joint patta had been issued in the name of the petitioner herein and to one Ramasamy. It is stated that the respondents had issued notice to the petitioner.

3. Let notice also be issued to the said Ramasamy and after ensuring that notice had been served and in his presence and in the 2/5

presence of the petitioner herein, if there are no objections, then respondents may survey the aforementioned lands. If for some reasons, survey could not be done, then necessary reasons must be given. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
