Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2021 submitted for taking suitable action for registration of case against the persons namely M.Murugan son of Muthuchellathevar, one Vilvalingam son of Sanmugathevar and Thavam @ Thavamurugan son of Muthuramalingam of M.Karisalkulam, Sayalkudi Ramanathapuram District, who were deliberately left out by the respondents 4 and 5 while registering case in Crime No.286 of 2021 on the file of the third respondent by altering the first Information Report as well as the alteration of damage amount therein beside for taking departmental action against the respondents 4 and 5 within a time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2021 submitted for taking suitable action for registration of case against the persons namely M.Murugan son of Muthuchellathevar, one Vilvalingam son of Sanmugathevar and Thavam @ Thavamurugan son of Muthuramalingam of M.Karisalkulam, Sayalkudi Ramanathapuram District, who were deliberately left out by the respondents 4 and 5 while registering case in Crime No.286 of 2021 on the file of the third respondent by altering the first Information Report as well as the alteration of damage amount therein beside for taking departmental action against the respondents 4 and 5 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even though the specific allegations have been made against M.Murugan son of Muthuchellathevar, one Vilvalingam son of Sanmugathevar and Thavam @ Thavamurugan son of Muthuramalingam of M.Karisalkulam, Sayalkudi Ramanathapuram District, those persons have been deliberately omitted in the First Information Report.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that during the pendency of this petition, those persons have been included in the First Information Report and an alteration report has also been submitted before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kadaladi on 06.07.2021.

4. Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
