Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision petition dated 06.10.2021 in the light of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.23155 of 2015, dated 12.08.2022 and the orders passed by the first respondent in G.O.(2D) No.277, Revenue and Disaster Management Department Establishment Unit (Ser.6(1)) Section dated 27.12.2022 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The only request made by the petitioners is that their revision petition pending before the first respondent should be expeditiously disposed of. It is seen that the petitioners filed the revision petition on 06.10.2021. More than 1 1⁄2 years have elapsed.

3. I therefore direct the first respondent to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law after notice to the interested parties within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 2/4

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
