Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to give permission to conduct Dance & Song Programme on 01.08.2018 at about 09.00 pm., subsequent to the Aadi Festival to the Sri Selvamuthumariamman Kovil, Nambuthalai, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2018. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to to direct the respondents to give permission to conduct Dance & Song Programme on 01.08.2018 at about 09.00 pm., subsequent to the Aadi Festival to the Sri Selvamuthumariamman Kovil, Nambuthalai, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation before the second respondent on 20.07.2018, but sofar, no order has been passed. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that no representation has been received by the second respondent.

5.In the light of the above, the relief as prayed in the present writ petition, cannot be granted. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. However, it is open to the petitioner to make fresh representation before the authority concerned. On receipt of such representation, the same will be considered on merits in accordance with law.
