Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct III Additional District and Sessions Judge (Spl. Court for PCR Act Cases), Madurai to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender in Crime No.44 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. R.Sundar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. K.Sanjai Gandhi Government Advocate (Criminal Side), for the respondents No. 1 and 2, this Court made the following order:

This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioners to surrender in Crl.O.P(MD)No.5203 of 2024 dated 12.04.2024.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and the time for surrender by the petitioners before the concerned Court is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
