ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.N.MANJULA, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely, Abirami, aged 17 years and hand over the custody to the petitioner before this Court.

2. It is alleged that the petitioner's daughter, viz., Abirami aged 17 years had gone missing from 03.05.2024, for which, a complaint has been preferred before the 2nd respondent on 04.05.2024 and a case has been registered in Crime No.100/2024 for girl missing. Since, no effective steps were taken to trace the petitioner's daughter, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the 2nd respondent police has produced the detenue, viz., Abirami. The records showed that her date of birth is 17.05.2007. When enquired she stated that she was willing to go with her mother, namely, the petitioner herein. The petitioner is also present before this Court and she agreed to take her 2/4

daughter along with her. Consequently, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
