ORDER
The revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge (Rent Control Appellate Authority), Madurai, to dispose of R.C.A.No.17 of 2014, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of speedy disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondent. 3.The revision petitioner, who is the Landlady, has filed R.C.O.P.No.156 of 2003 before the Principal District Munsif Court, Madurai Town, seeking to evict the respondent from the petition mentioned building on the ground of wilful default, for own use and occupation and demolition and reconstruction. The learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai Town, by order 19.02.
2014, allowed the R.C.O.P. and directed the respondent to vacate and hand over the possession of the petition mentioned building to the revision petitioner within three months from the date of that order. Against the said order, the respondent/tenant has filed R.C.A.No.17 of 2014 before the Principal Subordinate Court, Madurai. The said R.C.A. was adjourned from time to time for arguments. Hence, the revision petitioner/Landlady has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge (Rent Control Appellate Authority), Madurai, to dispose of R.C.A.No.17 of 2014, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the revision petitioner, without going into the merits and demerits of the allegation raised by her, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the following direction:- The learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai, is directed to dispose of R.C.A.No.17 of 2014, pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on day-today basis, without giving any adjournment to both the parties. After passing orders, the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai, shall report the same to this Court within a period of ten days. No order as to costs.
