ORDER

The revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to dispose of O.S.No.290 of 2017, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of speedy disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondent. 3.The respondent herein has filed O.S.No.290 of 2017 against the revision petitioner before the Principal District Munsif Court, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, for permanent injunction. The Court below adjourned the suit from time to time and thereafter, on 23.03.2018 referred the case to Mediation Centre and on that sole ground alone, the suit is adjourned from 13.06.2018 to 04.08.2018 for nearly two months.

In the said suit, the revision petitioner/defendant has filed written statement as early as on 07.02.2018. Hence, the revision petitioner/defendant has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to dispose of O.S.No.290 of 2017, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the revision petitioner, without going into the merits and demerits of the allegation raised by him, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the following direction:- The learned Principal District Munsif, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, is directed to dispose of O.S.No.290 of 2017, pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on day-to-day basis, without giving any adjournment to both the parties.

No order as to costs.
