Respondents PRAYER :- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the petitioner`s minor son namely Dhinesh @ Sanjeevi S/o.Santhanam aged about 17 years, from the illegal custody of the respondent No.3 before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.N.MANJULA, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to produce the petitioner's minor son, namely, Dhinesh @ Sanjeevi, aged 17 years and hand over the custody to the petitioner.

2. It is alleged that the petitioner's son, viz., Dhinesh @ Sanjeevi aged 17 years had gone missing from 08.05.2024, for which, a complaint has been preferred before the 2nd respondent and a case has been registered in Crime No.41/2024 for boy missing. Since, no effective steps were taken to trace the petitioner's son, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the 2nd respondent police has produced the detenu, viz., Dhinesh @ Sanjeevi. The records showed that his date of birth is 22.05.2006. Thus, he attained majority today(22.05.2024). When enquired he stated that he was willing to go with his mother, namely, the petitioner herein. The petitioner is also 2/4

present before this Court and she agreed to take his son along with her. Consequently, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. (R.N.M, J.) (C.K.,J.) 22.05.2024 NCC :
