India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the Impugned Order dated 07.05.2024 of the 3rd respondent and to quash the same in so far as refusing to grant permission to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 22.05.2024 as illegal and consequently directing the 3rd respondent herein to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 22.05.2024 in connection with "Utsav Festival" of Arulmigu Sri Mariamman, Sri Karuppasamy Thirukovil, A.Karuppaiahpuram Village, North Taluk, Madurai District.

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned order dated 07.05.2024 passed by the 3rd respondent rejecting the petitioner's request for grant of permission to conduct Adal Padal programme on 22.05.2024 in connection with "Utsav Festival" of Arulmigu Sri Mariamman, Sri Karuppasamy Thirukovil, A.Karuppaiahpuram Village, 2/6
North Taluk, Madurai District and consequently, to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the said temple functions.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already submitted a representation before the second respondent and the second respondent has also passed an order on 11.05.2024 permitting the petitioner to conduct the festival with some conditions.
3. Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submits that the respondents are ready to undertake to follow the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu/Head of State Police Force, Chennai-4, in Rc.No.007301/General I(I)/2019, dated 09.04.2019.
4. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the Adal Padal programme on 22.05.2024 by following the circular 3/6
issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu/Head of State Police Force, Chennai-4, in Rc.No.007301/General I(I)/2019, dated 09.04.2019 and also the conditions stipulated by the second respondent.
