ORDER

The petitioner seeks speedy disposal of H.M.O.P.No.298 of 2017 on the file of the Family Court, Madurai. This Court has not been fully appraised about the work load in the Court below. Therefore, this Court will not be justified in giving a direction of speedy disposal of the petitioner's case alone. Merely because the petitioner has filed the Civil Revision Petition, he could not be allowed to jump the queue. He submitted that the petitioner is working in Hong Kong. Since the Family Court needs appearance of the petitioner in person, this Court is of the view that since the petitioner is abroad, he can be represented through his counsel on all hearing dates. If the petitioner's presence is mandatory or imperative, sufficient notice will be given to the petitioner so that he can avail leave from his employer and attend the court hearings. Dispensing with the personal appearance of the petitioner before the Court below is granted.

2. With these directions, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
