O R D E R

This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the wife seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.216 of 2015 on the file of the Family Court, Madurai to the file of the Subordinate Court, Chidambaram.

2. It appears that when this matter was listed earlier, there was an attempt to settle the matter between the spouses, but the same had failed.

3. Today, a Memorandum of Terms of Compromise, dated 18.04.2017, has been filed by the parties, wherein they have agreed for divorce mutually. The compromise also contains certain terms regarding payment of permanent alimony, etc.

4. Hence, H.M.O.P.No.216 of 2015 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Madurai and transferred to the file of this Court and there will be a decree in H.M.O.P.No.216 of 2015 dissolving the marriage that took place on 31.01.2005. The other terms of compromise in the Memorandum of Terms of Compromise filed in this petition will form part of the decree. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and H.M.O.P.No.216 of 2015 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Madurai and transferred to the file of this Court and disposed of in terms of the compromise reached between the parties. No costs. Consequently, the connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
