O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to settle petitioner's surrender leave salary for 135 days in respect of the years 2010-2023 together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum payable from the date of his retirement to till the date of actual payment.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner had attained superannuation on 31.05.2023. However, his surrender leave salary was not paid, due to paucity of fund. The petitioner has sent a representation on 20.03.2025, seeking the above said benefits. So far, there is no response from the authorities, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to disburse the eligible surrender leave salary of the writ petitioner along with 6% interest from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
