2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation, dated 10.05.2018 seeking to grant permission for conducting cultural activities (Valli Tirumana Drama) on 02.08.2018 at 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. for the completion of festival of Arrival of Navaneetha Perumal Urchava festival at Vellikurichi Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District. No order has been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner filed this present writ petition before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the representation filed by the petitioner would be considered by the first respondent in accordance with law.
5.In the light of the above facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.05.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 02.08.2018 after providing an opportunity to the parties concerned. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
