Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation, dated 23.07.2018, seeking to permit the petitioner to conduct the "Karakaattam" programme which is scheduled to be held on 05.08.2018 between 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m. at Arulmigu Sree Aalayi Amman Kovil at Thuvakudi Village, Trichy District and to provide adequate police protection. No order has been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner filed this present writ petition before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the

respondents would submit that the representation filed by the petitioner would be considered by the second respondent in accordance with law.

5.In the light of the above facts and circumstances, and considering the limited scope of prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 04.08.2018, after providing an opportunity to the parties concerned. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
