2 W.P.(MD)NO.13805 OF 2019 Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.9 to issue Transfer certificate of the petitioner's sisters son Minor S.Srirengan, S/o. Late. Sangaralingam to her within the time stipulated by this Court and consequently directing the respondents Nos. 1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to him.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The case on hand involves issuance of Transfer Certificate for the petition mentioned child. The child's parents had passed away. There was custody dispute between the maternal aunt and the paternal grandparents. The child was studying in sixth standard in the ninth respondent school 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.13805 OF 2019 during the relevant time. On account of the dispute between two sides, the management was in a quandary and they did not know to whom the certificate has to be issued. In these circumstances this writ petition has been filed.

3. More than 31⁄2 years have elapsed. Now the child is said to be studying tenth standard in Sathanur Government Higher Secondary School, in Elayankudi. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
