Respondent Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner for his deceased father namely Vellaisamy, who died on 01.06.1993 by considering the petitioner's online legal heir application number TN-7202008242160, dated 24.08.2020.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's father Vellaisamy is said to have passed away as early as 01.06.1993. The petitioner has given an online application for issuance of Legal Heir Certificate. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent states that there appears to be some objection and they will give notice to the interested parties and the enquiry is to be held in the first week of October-2020. The learned Additional Government Pleader further states that based on the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner's representation would be appropriately disposed of. The said exercise will be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.In view of the above submission, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
