Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2018 and to assign the Registration Number as TN 59 CF 0009 to the BMW Motor car having the Engine & Chassis No 0097 Y 148 and WBA HU1705 J5 J02186 respectively based on the petitioner's eapplication dated 18.01.2018 and payment of fees collected by the respondent on 21.02.2018 towards the fees for the allotment of Registration Number as TN 59 CF 0009.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to assign the Registration Number TN-59CF-0009 to his BMW Motor Car, by considering his representation dated 24.07.2018.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that an order negativing the claim of the petitioner came to be passed by the authorities and the same was also challenged before this Court by filing W.P.(MD)No.19676 of 2018. Hence, the present writ petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above submission and the endorsement made, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
