ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A8, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 120(B), 419, 420, 468, 471 and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.212 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that after investigation, the respondent police dropped the name of the petitioner and also filed an altered report to that effect.
